The rēp Impact Awards

It was great to see so many of the rēp community come together under one roof at Kelvin Grove to celebrate the end of five years, ten ventures of rēp in Cape Town. While there were many we could have recognized for their hard work, we hope the Awards were an encouragement and an inspiration of what God is doing through business to change the nation.

Here is a couple of highlights:

- First, honoring some of the people who have been there from the beginning, including Doug and his family, Ma, Bart, and of course Brett and Lyn.

- Second, the Award presentations to recognize:

o Power Group received the Purpose Award because of their unwavering commitment to transform their industry, while remaining a force that brings housing and community to thousands

o Sangangalo received the Household Award for his profound work in ministering and praying for employees in times of incredible sorrow

o Rola Motor Group received the Nehemiah Award for his sensitivity and ability to practically apply biblical principles to a family situation

o Umoya Networks received the Profit Award for their incredible story of the way they have stewarded the small things and God is now blessing their obedience with big things

o Grant Cycle received The Full Cycle Award for mentoring their staff to operate and run the business in a biblical model and to now give back to rēp with time and energy.

o Organic Water Solutions received the Product Award because Dave and Amanda have stewarded a divine product that will change the world in providing clean water to communities

o Dr. Olivier received the Positioning Award for recognizing their God given role in the community and ministering through their practice with joy and excitement

o Melakit received the Convergence Award for understanding God’s patterns of weaving different aspects of life together that allows them to use all their gifts and talents in powerful ministry to students, and employees

o Key Recruiters received the People Award for incredible passion in helping people succeed, find meaning and transform lives through employment

o S&C Agencies received the Place Award for recognizing that place glorifies God and using it as a tool to make customers, and employees feel like they belong

o ECI Zone received the Key Recruitment Award for ongoing exploration of what God would have for business and family as Louis participates and coaches rēp alumni

o Naries Lodge received the Presence Award for inviting God into the location of the lodge and healing the land from past sin

- Third, it was touching to see how so many of the rēp alumni that are committed to transforming their marketplace. Lives have been changed, industries challenged, and a continent is being transformed.

God is at work in Cape Town; as a result, rēp will continue to operate there. In this new phase rēp will become specific in its aim towards transforming sectors of society. The US consultants will be fewer, but specialized and work with businesses that seek to transform an industry or sector of society, i.e. healthcare, government, law, education, etc. Also, rēp Cape Town will become a sending city to the rest of the world. Nations are crying out for rēp , and Cape Town will have the opportunity to train and send consultants to Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Jakarta, China, India, and Europe.
