Day 14 - Nov 17, 2006

In some respects, today’s client presentations were a culmination of two weeks of heart-felt conversations and several months of training and prayer. Through tears of joy, amongst beloved family and friends, and with paramount hope clients shared how they and their companies have been repurposed.

The atmosphere felt heavenly.

Here are a few highlights:

  • All of the clients conveyed how their companies are becoming more compassionate, people-building, and aligned with God’s heart
  • Numerous clients began personal repurposing journeys as a prerequisite to their companies being effectively repurposed
  • The managing director of an accounting practice decided to eliminate all falsehood from her practice
  • The president of a shipping business committed his company to turning the tide of industry corruption

Day 13 - Nov 16, 2006

My client gave her presentation yesterday, because she had scheduled meetings for Thursday and Friday not knowing she was going to attend the venture, so I had a client free day today.

On Monday Doug had said that God was probably going to be working a lot in the consultants lives this week and boy was he right. Almost every one by this time had had a chance to pray with the intercessors and had been blessed with various words of affirmation and revelation.

DSC04985_small.jpgGod was busy at work and also blessed me with being able to sit and chat with Louis who is the most quiet person I have ever met with so much to say! He was also used to bless every single one of us this week and by the end of the week I had gained a new father.

I’m beginning to reflect on the fact that the venture is almost over and realizing how much I am going to miss the whole group being together in this context. The challenge is now for me to make sure I maintain the community that God has just blessed me with.

Day 12 - Nov 15, 2006

Chrisna, Teju and Narina
Today was the last day of our formal training sessions… We were blessed by our first Client Report back from Chrisna….She was supported, loved, prayed for, by Teju and Narina… Chrisna – at a young age, owns a couple of businesses – one a Bed and Breakfast, and the other an Accounting Firm… Chrisna was transformed by the past ten days in many ways… One of them was a mind shift from wanting to offer her clients the best advice for avoiding taxes, to being a beacon of financial integrity – an example for others in her industry… Paying Ceaser what is Ceasers… And Chrisna has been praying for her clients – and with her clients… 338697-558289-thumbnail.jpg

Another big event for today was the birth of a daughter for one of our clients! He had been waiting ever so patiently for his first child – and his child was born… Great blessing for him – and all of us…. Times with the intercessors were always challenging, blessings, eye-opening, spirit-opening, tear enducing…. and life changing… Thank you Lord for the power and intimacy of prayer…. Thank you Carla, Sean, Dena, and the others intercessors for your love and service to all of us in this way.

Day 11 - Nov 14, 2006

During our prayer time on Sunday, Doug noted that the first week had been accelerated with client breakthroughs happening already and he sensed that the second week would be stretching and challenging for the American consultants. He was right.

Many of the American consultants spent time with the prayer team where God revealed things He wanted to work through in their lives. Much of what was revealed only reinforced the reasons we were divinely paired with our co-consultants and clients. Shared tendencies to jump to action in our own strength before waiting to hear from God. Families in need of reconciliation and repurposing as much as our businesses. It was truly a powerful time.

Day 10 - Nov 13, 2006

When Annie asked me to write an update about last Monday’s training, my brain felt like an Apple 2E computer. You know…one of the first ones we all had in our houses many years ago, that actually made robotic noises while it slowly searched for information at the speed of molasses? Monday was FIVE days ago and here in Equip world…ONE day is equal to 6 months, so I had to call on the “geek squad” (my team) to help me sort through the corrupted data! Here is what they were able to recover:

  • Jessica-“My client had a breakthrough when he realized that, in order to invigorate his business, he needed to address partnering.”
  • Teju’-“It was a hard day coming off the weekend for my client and covering 3 of the P’s. I just kept encouraging her…’you’re almost done, just one more P!’”
  • Megan & Al- “Everyday was a breakthrough for our clients, so Monday was about connecting socially and enjoying a sushi dinner while considering practical applications for the P’s.”
  • Eric- “It was a hectic day!”
  • Brad- “The Team Hoyt video is what stood out to me the most. That was incredibly moving.”
  • Anonymous team member- “uhhhh…which Monday? um…hmmm- I don’t remember. Where were we Monday?”

338697-558286-thumbnail.jpgProfit, Planning and Partnering weren’t my client’s most crucial P’s, so though the training details are a little fuzzy, I’ll never forget Monday, November 13, 2006! Three independent people had messages from the Lord for me and I am still dizzy with gratefulness for God speaking to me personally and giving me the clear direction I asked for on this trip. Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us!
