Friday, September 16, 2005

Today we covered Positioning and Partnering with our clients. The close of the day Friday brought an end of a busy week. There was definitely a need for coffee to keep the engine’s firing! Friday also represented a midpoint in our work here. Looking around the room and comparing interactions to those earlier in the week when we all met for the first time was encouraging and exciting. I am excited to see what God brings us the week following, and am encouraged with where we are all at today!

The ladies were able to go to a women’s ministry meeting and were greatly blessed, as well as were able to share and bless the ladies of that church community.

For us guys, it was a welcome night off, so the men went either to bed to catch up on sleep, or ventured out of town to see the sights. Although I was about to collapse from exhaustion, I had a Red Bull and headed into Cape Town to visit with a friend of Eric’s who was having a house warming party. How great to meet and spend some people of the city! I likely will be remembered as the American Guy who looked glass eyed and kept yawning the entire evening.

Pray about the people of South Africa – all the different cultures and economic groups amaze me. Pray also for the safety of those who are here to minister.
