  • Interaction with local churches, non-profits and businesses leaders

The average day of an rēp team member includes:

  • 6.00 a.m. – Wake, shower, etc.
  • 6.50 a.m. – Breakfast and devotions
  • 7.50 a.m. – Meet with local consultants for daily briefing to review day’s plans
  • 8.20 a.m. – Greet clients
  • 8.30 a.m. – 1st Session with clients: teaching in workshop and scorecarding
  • 12.30 p.m. – Lunch together
  • 1:30 p.m. - 2nd Session with clients: teaching in workshop and scorecarding
  • 4.00 p.m. – Finish session with clients
  • 4.30 p.m. – Team debrief
  • 6.00 p.m. – Dinner or evening events
  • 8.00 p.m. onwards – working on client deliverables (when we do not have evening events)

On the unstructured days—and there are usually 4 of these—consultants go to their clients to visit, meet with other members of the management team, and conduct working sessions. We also visit past clients to pray for their businesses, colleagues, etc. Most tourist activity takes place after the consultation process is complete.

We have targeted South Africa as a place to pioneer the rēp concepts for a variety of reasons:

  • Includes so-called first world through developing world economies
  • English is the everyday language of the workplace
  • As such, it is a good place to pilot models that can be used almost anywhere in the world
  • South Africa has elements of the business community and society that are fairly basic, but it also has enough infrastructure to support business-as-missions endeavors
  • We have an existing base of relationships there, and this provides the relational and spiritual capital needed for such an initiative
  • It provides us a living laboratory to intertwine the four tracks of rēp.
  • It is a springboard to the rest of Africa.
